The movie is inspired by the „Film Noir” style and Japanese crime movies. It is a story about a fashion and art, which constructs and deconstructs a fragile reality. Anything can serve as inspiration – you see something ugly and feel inspired though it.
The movie tells about a private detective, who finds himself at a crime place, where everything seams familiar – and actually, it is familiar. Strong characters and personalities dominate, which can be both positive and negative.

The „Daydreaming” is a story about people who live in uncertain time and place, forgetting a magic of their life and moment. As in every story, there is a chance to change and be changed, if the small heart, left with the only child, will find its way to people. In this fairytale, we can look around, use the moment and celebrate the fact, that we are who we are!
The movie offers not just a view on a fashion as a use of untraditional or expensive clothing, but also on things which should be fashionable – emotionality, friendship, colors, music and dance, communication, living and not just existing.

The movie tells about an incident in allotment area on a nice, hot summer day, when Janis decides to prove his new neighbor Maria that he is not only intelligent and fashionable, but also cares for environment. He goes to swim dressed in bathing trunks, made from self-grown lettuce leaves, but his brave action ends up not exactly as planned. Our stylish environmental friend has forgotten, that the fashion often requires a sacrifice as well.
It is a real summer adventure with fabulous environment of Bolderaja allotment jungles and stormy sea during the sunset. The story is about unhappy love, desire to be liked even risking looking foolish. The Latvian saying “to hide into dirt because of the shame” is carried out almost directly in the movie – Janis goes into the sea and refuses to come out!

The movie has been inspired by beautiful nightmares, by a realistically unreal feeling, where is no feeling of a space, no feeling of time and sometimes there is nothing at all. Strong characters with their mission are found in the story, which are inspired to be inspired by nightmares.

The movie is a hand-drawn animation about a red dress, pasta and broken dreams. The main hero is a woman, who longs to purchase a red dress. She does not have enough finances, to fulfill her dream, therefore forces herself to eat a cheap and low-grade food. Will she be able to fulfill her dream?
