Nowadays a green revolution and environmental protection becomes more and more popular – it is kind of a standard for our lives and millions of people follow it in whole world. We recycle paper, glass and other things, which can be used in our lives, but why not do that with clothing, we do not use anymore?
The shopping center "Domina" announces a competition “FIP new cut: recycling fashion” for young and talented fashion artists and stylists.
A “green” idea on recycling clothing, positive life perception phenomenon and its entrance into casual fashion lies in the base of the contest – a ‘green lifestyle’ has become one of the freshest and contemporary tendencies in world’s fashion metropolitan life, and this is an amazing chance for Latvia to join it as well.
Competition
Basic idea: changing and combining of damaged and unsold goods from well-known brands, creating a casual, innovative and environmentally friendly and, of course, fashionable collection.
Participants: young fashion designers and stylists from Latvia.
Prize: 1000 EUR award.
Implementation: created spring collection will be sold after the „FIP new cut” fashion show at the shopping centre “Domina”. Income distribution form sold goods– 50% goes to an author and 50% for trade provision.
