FIP– FASHION IS PASSION!
What is FIP?
FIP –fashion event in Riga organized by event’s main stylist Natalija Jansone and Domina Shopping for the 2nd time. The first show as organized in October, 7-9 in 2005 which gained a big success among the public and media. The tradition of FIP is continued and similar fashion event is planned in March, 2006. Three days long fashion series are brightening up the reputation of Riga as the Northern fashion metropolis. The fashion festivity is conformation that fashion is integral part of everyday life of each citizen of Riga. The main idea is to introduce citizens of Riga as well as visitors of Domina Shopping with the latest spring-summer fashion tendencies in a form of attractive fashion show.
The well-known Latvian fashion designers and authorities are invited to participate in the fashion show. This event offers to the fashion designers and other people active in the world of fashion an opportunity to demonstrate the fashion trends of the season, and allows the consumers to get an attractive overview of these trends.
The first FIP fashion days will take place in March, 2006 in Domina Shopping. It will be as a continuation of tradition – fashion festivity FIP that takes place twice a year in the spring and the autumn.
Thesimilar fashion shows called FIBIT (Fashion is back in Tallinn) very successfully have taken place already twice in Estonia. FIBIT was organized in cooperation with Estonia shopping mall Viru Centre. FIBIT has become the leading event of fashion life in Estonia that is popular among the spectators and is also actively supported by Estonian fashion artists, designers and famous people.
The form of fashion show FIP
The fashion designer Natalija Jansone will be the main stylist in FIP. Within three days FIP offers fashion shows in three different styles where Latvian fashion designers will find themselves as stylists and seek for the most stylish combinations of clothes and accessories of the season. All clothing presented at the shows comes from the shops of Domina Shopping that participate in fashion days FIP. It is a brilliant chance to a viewer to see the clothes in the combinations made by famous stylists and to find the most suitable for individual taste. The fashion show makes easier the choice of viewer-buyer to find the best goods. To come to see the fashion days FIP are invited everybody who is interested in fashion (it is free of charge).
The target groups of FIP
The target audience of FIP is Domina Shopping visitors in the age of 15 to 60. The average customer flow is showing constant growth and breaks the level of 15 000 daily visitors. Besides, in the case of special campaigns and advertised events the customer flow reaches 20 000 per day. It is expected that in three days 60 000 number of people will be reached. The fashion shows are aimed for every age.
